However, all three methods are safe and contain a few simple steps. You can use any of the above methods according to your preference.

Tip For Successful Registration

The TM SIM registration process does not contain any complex things. However, there are small things that you should keep in mind. Here are the tips that I always follow to register my TM and Globe SIMs without any issue:

  • Always provide the valid and up-to-date details according to your official documents. Do not use invalid details such as CNIC and name to avoid errors and penalties.
  • Always upload a valid and clear image of your ID. The selfie must be fresh. Keep in mind that the maximum acceptable size of the image is 2 MB.
  • Make sure that your SIM card is inserted properly. If it is not properly inserted, you will not receive the OTP. If you are a wifi user, click on the “Click here” link next to the OTP box to get OTP.
  • Always use the TM SIM Registration legit link and official app for registration. Any third-party app or link can lead to serious errors.
  • Contact the TM SIM support in case of any issue. The support will guide you to overcome the issue.

How To Switch To TM? (SIM card portability)

The TM offers to switch to TM Tambayan from any other network through Mobile Network portability. Here is how you switch to TM from another network:

  1. First of all, ensure that the current number is active, has no unpaid bills, and has been active for at least 90 days.
  2. Send a text USC to 5050 from your current mobile number. In reply, you will receive a 9-digit code.
  3. Visit the TM portal or store and request a new TM SIM for posting.
  4. Provide your current number and the USC.
  5. A new TM SIM will be delivered to you within 2-3 days.
  6. Insert the TM SIM into your phone. On the SIM menu, select Port In, then Online Request.
  7. Enter your old mobile number and the 6-digit porting code you received from TM.
  8. It will take a few hours to activate your SIM. Once the SIM is activated, you can use the TM network with your old number.
